Super Simple Customisable Cookies
This is a recipe adapted from https://www.janespatisserie.com/2016/03/07/chewy-chocolate-chip-cookies/

Ingredients:
- 175g Unsalted Butter
- 325g Light Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 Egg
- 1 Egg Yolk
- 275g Plain Flour
- 1/2 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
- 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
- As much chocolate or additional extras as you like!
Makes 12 giant cookies, or 20 normal-sized cookies
Method
- Preheat oven to 180C or gas 4
- Melt the butter slowly then mix with the sugar
- Whisk the egg and vanilla together
- Mix all of the dry ingredients together, then mix into the wet, don’t over mix!
- Add any additions – chocolate, popcorn, pretzels…
- Ball into 3cm wide balls for normal-sized cookies or 5cm wide for giant cookies. Bake for 8 minutes for normal cookies and 10 minutes for giant cookies. They may look undercooked, but take them out of the oven and leave them on the baking tray to cool before eating.
